BIOGRAPHY
I am Melania Aiello, an Italian girl with a passion for art and all things creative. I started my studies at the University of Turin, Italy, where I graduated in DAMS (disciplines of the arts, music and performing arts), delving into the field of cinema, theater, music and dance, also delving into the aspect of marketing and law in the entertainment field. Later, having always had a passion in video editing, I enrolled in a master's degree in audiovisual editing and post-production at The Core Entertainment Science School, in Madrid, Spain, where I was able to learn and improve in the field of editing with the programs DaVinci and Premiere, in the field of digital composition with AfterEffects, in the field of graphic animation, also learning 3D with Cinema4D Maxon, and finally in the field of color.

Aqua Mater is a video made by me that stems from the desire to participate in the international competition #ElMarEn60 organized by Iberdrola and Cultura Inquieta. The element to be highlighted is the sea, in this project we see as co-starring performer Giorgio Otranto, a professional dancer at the Siena Academy in Italy.

The project is born as a music video clip, starring the band Lost by Karma immersed in an eighties aesthetic and accompanied by an animation that appears in several scenes of the video clip.
The music video 'Llamas' tells a story about rising from the ashes and finding what makes us happy in a gray and monotonous world. Fears and tiredness are represented by a 2D animated entity, which bothers the protagonist in real life. Only she can see it, but it manages to torment her in her daily life.
The entity is just another character in the video clip. It represents what keeps the protagonist from advancing as a musician and as a person. It appears as a strange being, a kind of 2D monster that could remind us of a ghost from the legendary vintage video game Pac-Man.
